DeindexAlert

Terms of Service

Plain-language summary: we monitor URLs you tell us to monitor and email you when something looks wrong. Don't use it to scan sites you don't have permission to monitor, and understand that automated monitoring can miss things — it's a safety net, not a guarantee.

The service

DeindexAlert periodically checks URLs you add for indexability signals (robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical tags, HTTP status) and emails you when a tracked signal changes. The free plan covers a limited number of URLs; paid plans (when available) cover more URLs and/or more frequent checks.

Your account

We use passwordless login (magic links sent to your email). Keep access to that email account secure — anyone with access to it can access your DeindexAlert account. You're responsible for the URLs you add: only monitor sites you own or are authorized to monitor.

Acceptable use

Don't use DeindexAlert to probe, scan, or monitor third-party sites without authorization, to circumvent a site's robots.txt for purposes other than the indexability checks we perform, or to overload any site with requests. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service or the sites it checks.

No guarantee of detection

We check on a schedule (currently every 30 minutes on paid tiers as they launch; the exact interval may change) and only for the signals we document. We do our best to catch indexability regressions quickly, but network issues, edge cases, or signals outside our scope can mean something slips through. DeindexAlert is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee that your pages stay indexable — you remain responsible for your own SEO and technical decisions.

Billing

Paid plans, once available, are billed on a recurring subscription basis through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't currently offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeindexAlert and its operator are not liable for lost organic traffic, lost revenue, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including missed or delayed alerts.

Termination

You can stop using DeindexAlert and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the acceptable use section above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator of DeindexAlert is legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This section will be updated with a specific jurisdiction once a formal business entity is registered.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or on this page.
